The Biblical Tabernacle Experience

You’ve heard about the Ark of the Covenant, the altar, and more. Now, you can see these and more during The Biblical Tabernacle Experience. This exhibit is a must-see if you’re a fan of the Bible. It also explains why the Ark of the Covenant was so important to the Old Testament story.

In the Old Testament, the Israelites were commanded to perform sacrifices to atone for their sins. The tabernacle’s design symbolized the presence of God. It was shaded during the day and heated at night by a fiery pillar. The Tabernacle was also where the children of Israel were led during their forty-year journey through the desert. The tabernacle was staffed by priests who performed the priestly duties prescribed by God.

The Biblical Tabernacle Experience is an interactive exhibit that offers tours of a life-size replica of the Hebrew Tabernacle. The exhibit includes a welcome center with historical information about the Tabernacle, its history, and the symbolism it contains. The exhibit also features life-size replicas of Biblical items such as the Ark of the Covenant and the Golden Candlestick. It also includes a multimedia presentation that explains the spiritual significance of the Tabernacle and the role of the priests.

Before taking a tour of the tabernacle, visitors watch a video in the stake center. They also walk through a display on ancient and modern temples. Each of these aspects of the exhibit points to the Savior and the sacred covenants of the Old Testament. The experience also includes an interview with founder Jeanne Whittaker.

The Tabernacle Experience is a unique spiritual journey for visitors to explore. Visitors will learn about the stories in the Old Testament, and learn about the history of the Jewish and Mennonite people. The experience is free and will run until October 29. Tours are guided and last approximately 50 minutes. They will be held weekdays from 4 to 8:30 p.m. and on weekends from nine a.m.

The Tabernacle was a structure that measured about forty-five feet long by fifteen feet wide and fifteen feet high. It contained two rooms and two partitions. The Holy Place was the place where the Lord made his presence known to the people. It also contained the ark of the covenant, which was often referred to as the Holy of Holies.
